Serey's Mission
At SEREY we focus on protecting children and young people to prevent exploitation before it begins.
Poverty, lack of education and abusive structures drive people in Cambodia to the brink of despair. This has the potential to add them to the 50 million plus people world wide who are enslaved or exploited against their will.
We combat human trafficking and modern slavery, helping people to live freely in body, mind and spirit. SEREY means “freedom”, and that is the heart of our mission.
We partner with families, communities, schools, local authorities, and churches in villages affected by, or at risk of exploitation. Our approach is holistic, personal, and guided by love and hope.
Our work consists of 3 main areas.

Education: Awareness programs, training in life skills, provision of school supplies and arranging vocational training to help protect children and youth from exploitation.

Family support: Social work, emergency assistance and programs that help families become self-sufficient.

Community development: Collaborations with schools and authorities to improve safety, help fight common challenges and join in shaping the public spaces and the programs available.
With God guiding us, we deliver God’s hope to those in need (Matthew 11:28). Our practical support is permeated by His love to us and our love to Him and to the people. Praying, sharing the gospel and spiritual encouragements are part of our daily work.

How We Partner
Kingdom Development partners with Serey Ministries to strengthen and expand the work they are doing among vulnerable communities in Cambodia.

One of the primary ways we serve this partnership is by providing a trusted avenue for churches and individuals in the United States to financially support the ministry initiatives of Serey. Through Kingdom Development’s U.S. nonprofit structure, supporters are able to invest directly in projects focused on child protection, family support, and community development.

This partnership also creates a bridge between supporters in the United States and the ongoing work of this Germany-based ministry, helping expand both their reach and their long-term impact in Cambodia.

Beyond financial partnership, Kingdom Development also collaborates with Serey Ministries on future ministry initiatives, mission efforts, and emerging needs as they continue serving some of the most at-risk communities in the Siem Reap region. Together, our shared desire is to see families strengthened, children protected, and communities transformed through faithful, Christ-centered ministry.
