As we wrapped up 2023 we were privileged to be able to host 4 different outreaches! These particular outreaches were special because the students that we train and invest in both led and planned this year's events. They prepared school supplies for kids, practiced dramas and dances for over a month, and one of our students prepared a lesson that connected the birth of Jesus to the good news of why He came.
The result: over 1000 people came to the events, 800 packages of school supplies were handed out, and the gospel of Christ - was clearly proclaimed in 4 different places. But more than just the impact these events have on the community was the impact leading these type of outreaches have had on our students. It is one thing to train a young adult knowledge about how to do something, it is another thing entirely when they take that knowledge and run with it. The confidence in Christ and their own ability to be God's hands and feet to their people - that is what our ministry exists for - and that is what they gained this year.
We truly are overwhelmed by what God is doing in and through these young people. At the same time, we are overwhelmed by the prayers and partnership we have with you. Many of you gave towards seeing these events come together. And we are deeply thankful.
God is at work in this nation. Lives are being changed. And as the new year dawns it is good and right to take a moment and rejoice together over His faithfulness.
