It's Official...

This is one of the most exciting updates we’ve ever written. During the past 4 years, we’ve had the privilege of partnering with you. Because of your support, we are able to serve the people of Cambodia and help develop future leaders according to the Word of God.

Together, We've Done Incredible Things in the Last 4 Years…

• Students received life-changing training. This training has helped 28 students grow spiritually, mentally, and emotionally. Your support has allowed us to teach them what it means to lead as a servant of Christ.

• Students received basic needs and more. Your support has given these young people housing, biblical training, leadership training, mentorship, discipleship, and occasional scholarships. All of this is done within an infrastructure that allows them to continue their education in a safe and Christ-centered environment.

• We’ve had opportunities to engage the community. Your support has given us the resources, skills, and wisdom to share the Gospel, develop and lead children’s worship programs, teach English, translate biblical resources, and work at an International Christian School.

How Was All This Made Possible?

First, because this is Christ’s mission. You have felt His Spirit stir your heart to be a part of His great mission. You have joined the work and we are deeply humbled to be surrounded by such a great and godly community. Thank you!

Kingdom Development—A Non-Profit Ministry Serving Cambodia

Recently, we began a non-profit (NGO) in the US called Kingdom Development.

Why Kingdom Development Was Founded

Since 2017 we’ve been living in Cambodia. We’ve learned the language and the culture, developed relationships, and trained the students who live in the dormitories. It has been a joy to see how God has developed the ministry and students.

However, He’s also shown us how we are limited and the need for growth so He can continue His mission here. This is why Kingdom Development was started—to expand Jesus’ impact in the nation of Cambodia. After a year of prayerful consideration, Kingdom Development was born.

How Kingdom Development Will Be Used

There are endless opportunities to engage and equip the next generation of leaders in Cambodia. to not only have the knowledge to impact their nation, but to also gain practical experience in the fields they will one day lead. The aim of Kingdom Development is to provide the resources to those in Cambodia so they can…

• Gain knowledge that will impact their nation

• Receive opportunities to practice what they are learn

• Invest more deeply into their communities by being leaders in various fields of study

We believe that every person in Cambodia deserves to know their Creator. We know that God has a purpose for them and their nation. By starting Kingdom Development, we are creating the opportunity to partner with missionaries and local believers, as well as building a community/training center to better serve the people of Cambodia—all with the purpose of developing and equipping leaders according to God’s Word.

This is the vision and aim of Kingdom Development and its partners.

But let it always be known that at the heart of every decision, every plan, every purchase, and every word spoken - our central aim is to see the name of Jesus made famous in the world.

We know you share our heart to see those who are the most disadvantaged have every opportunity to mature and impact their nation in positive and lasting ways. Together, we will train and impact a generation of leaders, that in turn will train and impact the generation that follows them. We believe deeply this is how God will work through Kingdom Development—bringing us together with Him as the center so that His name will be honored, and lives forever changed.

Step 1. Look at the next page for directions to change platforms. You’ll find information on how to transfer donations through Fir Road Christian Church platform to our Kingdom Development platform.

• We understand that some of you may have some questions about your personal information. Please know that your information will never be shared with anyone. The platform we use is a safe and secure system started so that ministries like Kingdom Development are able to provide the safest and most effective platform possible to their supporters.

Step 2. Identify which “supporter” you are. Each “supporter” section contains detailed information to help you make platform transition.

Step 3. Expect to hear from me in the next few weeks. I’ll be reaching out to each of you over the next few weeks to see if you had any trouble with the transition and to answer any questions you might have.

We want to personally thank Fir Road Christian Church for their support and help given over these years. They have helped those who wanted tax-deductions for their support to be funneled through them and to the ministry here. That has been a huge blessing and we can’t thank them enough for it.

As we have grown financially over the years, our support has grown to be a burden for the Church. We praise God that Kingdom Development will be able to relieve that burden from them and continue to do the work God has for us to do.

Final Thought

Again, thank you for your love and support, for your obedience to follow God’s leading, and for your desire to see the name of Christ loved and obeyed in Cambodia. We are so excited to see how God will use this transition to make a greater impact in Cambodia. While this is an extra step now, we know that it creates a larger footprint for the future generation in Cambodia.

Directions for Transitioning Donations

To make this transition as painless as possible, follow the step-by-step instructions below…

Are you a supporter who already uses the “give52” platform?

You don’t need to do anything! This is the platform we will be using as our primary support system. The site name has changed but the platform is the same. It is “www.donate.kingdomdevelopment.org”. The main difference is that the support you have been giving since the beginning of the year on this platform will be tax deductible now that we received the non-profit status from the government. Thank you for your support.

Are you a supporter who currently gives through the “Fir Road Christian Church” platform?

If you support through one-time donations via Fir Road Christian Church you can skip Step 1.

Step 1. Cancel recurring support at Fir Road Christian Church.

1. From the Fir Road Christian Church homepage click on “Online Giving” or go to https://firroadcc.churchcenter.com/giving.

2. From the giving platform click on “Log In” in the upper right-hand corner.

3. Follow the prompts to log in to your giving account.

4. Under your account profile (upper right-hand corner) select the drop-down arrow.

5. Select “Profile” from the drop-down list.

6. Select “My Giving” from the page.

7. Scroll down to “Recurring Donations”.

8. Under Recurring Donations select the edit icon (pencil) next to the recurring donation in which “Becks to Cambodia” are supported.

9. A dialogue box will come up where you can select to delete or edit the recurring donation to discontinue support from that giving account.

Step 2. Visit our new platform at www.donate.kingdomdevelopment.org.

1. Click the “sign up” button at the top right side of the page.

2. Follow the prompts. After entering the information, you will get a message that says “a message has been sent to your email to verify and fully activate the account.”

3. Once the email is verified it will direct you to your profile page.

4. Click on the “Home” button and press the “Click here to Support” button on the main page.

5. Choose either to support as a “monthly” or “one time” donation.

6. Choose from the options of how much to give, where do you want the money to come from (Credit Card, Bank to Bank Transfer, Bank Transfer).

7. Hit check out and you are done!
