Partnership Announcement: From Classroom to Kingdom Impact

Dear Friends,
Many years ago, there was a young Cambodian boy named Bora who had unexpectedly lost both of his parents. Almost overnight he found himself alone, without a home, food, or any of the foundational things a child needs to grow and thrive when they are young.
And yet, through that heart-breaking circumstance, God provided an opportunity for him to receive a home, a family, and eventually Christian education through Asian Hope. It’s in that environment that Bora not only received an education, but also encountered the gospel, was discipled, and began developing a heart to serve others.
Today, Bora is a husband, father, church elder, ministry leader, translator, and one of Kingdom Development's ministry partners. Through his leadership, Christian resources are being translated into Khmer, pastors are being equipped, churches are being strengthened, and lives are being impacted throughout Cambodia.

His story reminds us of something we deeply believe: When you invest in a young person, you rarely know how far the impact will reach.
For years, Kingdom Development has sought to invest in a generation of leaders who will influence Cambodia and Southeast Asia for Christ. Sometimes that investment happens through discipleship, mentorship, leadership development, or university ministry. Sometimes it happens through education.
That is why we are excited to announce a new partnership with Asian Hope.
Asian Hope has spent years providing Christ-centered education to Cambodian students. Together, we share a common vision: helping raise up the next generation of leaders who love Christ and are equipped to serve others.
As part of this partnership, Kingdom Development will help identify and recruit teachers from the United States who sense a calling to use their gifts overseas. We will also assist with pre-field preparation, helping individuals and families think through the realities of cross-cultural life and long-term ministry before they ever step on an airplane.

One of the lessons Liz and I have learned after nearly twenty years overseas is that longevity matters. The greatest impact is often made not in the first year, but in the years that follow as relationships deepen, trust grows, and opportunities for discipleship multiply.
By helping recruit and prepare teachers well, we hope to contribute to that long-term impact.
Just imagine the possibilities.
A teacher impacts a classroom.
A classroom shapes a student.
A student becomes a leader.
A leader influences a community.
And a community transformed by the power of the gospel.
That is what it means to invest in a generation.

Please pray with us:
For teachers whom God may be calling to Cambodia.
For wisdom as we help prepare future workers for cross-cultural service.
For the students currently studying in Christian schools throughout Cambodia.
For lasting fruit that will continue for generations to come.
Thank you for partnering with us as we continue investing in a generation for the glory of God.
To God be the glory,
Eric and Liz Beck
Kingdom Development
